This book is not in any way, my type of book, but I would recomend it to others because I could be the only one who feels it isn’t a mystery. Freak the Mighty Book Review

They highly recommended that I read this with next years class. Throughout the story, it has been gradually revealed that Max’s father killed his mother by strangling her, and that Grim and Gram dislike his father and are afraid of Max ending up like him. There is a little bit rodmman language that might deter some teachers, but I’ve found that the kids can get past it for the story.


He’s huge, he can hardly read or write, and he lives in his grandparents’ basement. I want others opinions on what they thought of the book. On This was a good book.
